True to the credo "we care about plastics", epsotech is increasingly committed to the use of post-consumer recycled materials (PCR) and scores here with the Sea Plastics product solutions, which are made from old fiber plastics in form of fishing nets, trawl nets and ropes from ports, net makers and landfills worldwide.
With the customer Werbetechnik ART OF DISPLAY, epsotech has found exactly the right partner to take these Sea Plastics products further and establish them permanently in the market.
As part of the 2021 sustainability initiative, Werbetechnik has increasingly looked at new PCR materials and, with Sea Plastics, has found the right product to meet the requirements of customers and the market.
It was important to raise awareness internally and externally that plastic is a valuable resource, but also a finite one.
For this reason, Sea Plastics is now used in the area of "hotspot displays" and "secondary placements".
Climate protection and a functioning circular economy are challenges that no longer tolerate postponement and are thus becoming a mandatory task for companies.
epsotech has set itself the goal of substituting at least 30% of its PO product portfolio with post-consumer and marine plastics within the coming 5 years.
