Transition to an Owner-Managed Corporate Structure

International reorganisation successfully completed – owner-managed structure also targeted for Germany

The acquisition of the foreign epsotech subsidiaries by SKENDER GmbH - owned by epsotech CEO Predrag Skender - has been successfully completed. This is a decisive milestone on the road to finalising the reorganisation in Germany, which is now entering its final phase.

The transaction marks epsotech’s transition to an owner-managed structure, paving the way for sustainable growth in close partnership with employees, customers and suppliers. The four foreign companies now operate under the brand epsotech – part of SKENDER GmbH and are no longer included in the German self-administration proceedings of epsotech Holding GmbH. The companies concerned are:

  • epsotech AT
  • epsotech FR, including Axipack
  • epsotech IT
  • epsotech UK

“SKENDER GmbH will concentrate on the strategic development and operational management of the epsotech companies,” says Predrag Skender. “Our aim is for SKENDER GmbH to assume the same role for epsotech Germany as soon as economic conditions within the ongoing restructuring allow - something we expect in the near future. The German reorganisation is on the home stretch.”

Creditors of epsotech Holding approved the acquisition at a meeting in late March 2025, underscoring their confidence in the potential of the restructuring under Predrag Skender’s leadership. During the acquisition process, epsotech part of SKENDER GmbH was legally advised by the law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, represented by Prof. Dr. Georg Streit, Dr. Marc Scheunemann, and Dr. Ulrich Jork, as well as by the general agent Michael Böhner from Schultze & Braun. The completed acquisition - and the planned transition in Germany - bring continuity, clear responsibility and long-term stability for all stakeholders. As managing director of the new shareholder, Predrag Skender is thoroughly familiar with the business, organisation and markets, and remains committed to technical excellence, reliability and partnership-based growth.

“This step reinforces what sets epsotech apart - especially in a challenging market: technical know-how, dependable partnerships and a long-term perspective,” Skender adds. “Together with our employees, customers and suppliers, we will continue to drive epsotech forward. Our Competence Center strategy remains firmly in place, and we continue to stand for the highest quality in thermoplastic sheet production. epsotech will remain a stable, internationally successful and responsibly managed plastics specialist with a long-term outlook.”
